Rayji de Guia is a fictionist, poet, and illustrator.

Her work can be found in Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, harana poetry, Journal of English Studies and Comparative Literature, Bacopa Literary Review, and The Pinch among others. She also illustrated for Rogelio Braga’s Si Betchay at ang Sacred Circle (Balangiga Press).

In November 2019, she was a poet resident at the 12th season of Sangam House in Bangalore. When safe and possible, she will be a writer resident at Rimbun Dahan in Selangor, where she hopes to complete her first book of short stories.

Her suite, “Neither nothing nor forgotten”, received first prize in the poetry category of the 2nd Gémino H. Abad Awards for Poetry and for Literary Criticism, and her short story, “Death for Serafina”, received second prize in the English short story category of the 69th Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature.

Currently, she is based in Metro Manila.
